to see or not to see...

I've been wanting to try out contact lenses for some time now, but lacked the courage...now that I have to change my glasses I am more and more considering the lenses as an alternative....

As my eyesight is very important, crucial I might say....I have no idea which are best...one day wear, 1 week wear...etc? I also have no idea which brands are better, so I'm a total non-connaisseur in this field....any tips??
