...in a strange state of mind....

.....as I am waiting for spring to declare it's full victory on our beautiful land, I feel a strange need to hide myself from the world, and as you can see it has also affected my writing...
At the same time, I am easily irritated, and I guess it is the "astenia de primavara" desease that takes its toll on me. But I have a sure remedy for it - my bike, that is I am coming to work by it.
On the one hand, I would rather stay at home and read...The Bible (yep...that is what I'm actually reading right now!!!), but don't worry, I'm not going to become a nun or something, but I am actually reading it for documentation purposes. In fact, I've read it a few times before in my childhood, so much of it is not really unknown to me. In fact, I am reading it for the understanding I can have today, since  am 100% sure that any book (but especially this one!) has a different meaning with age...
I was watching The kingdom of Heaven yesterday evening...

...above is one of my favourite parts of the movie, when Godfrey of Ibolin names his lost and found son, Balian, as his successor; the ceremony of making him a kight impressed me a lot (I can't deny that mostly probably because of the old baron played by Liam Neeson...) and I believe that Orlando Bloom surpassed his "cutie " image and prooved himself  in this movie and also in Lord of the Rings as Legolas.
The second image that really put its mark on me was...

when it is said by somebody "Jerusaleme has come". I can't realy render this in words, you should see my eyes when I talk about this part of the movie....it thrills me! yep...I know....but you should have gotten used to my moods by now......I am what I read......
Except for the Bible, I never really tried to understand the Asia Minor peoples..and although up untill now I would probably reply that it is because of their violent nature that I rejected the knowledge, I must say that the civillisations left to us by Darius and Nabucodonosor  have never left me unimpressed and unwanting to find out more.
That is why I have decided to enlarge my horizon in that direction too, and my first baby step is to buy

the collection of DVDs and magazines by National Geographic, edited here by DeAgostini; the first  number being Ierusalim, documentary which I saw for 3 times already....and I have also bought the second DVD-Florence...seen only twice...(:D)

And of course, I am not going to stop at this documentary about Jerusalem, but don't worry, I have no source to learn Arabic, otherwise........

Bisous!
